Your extended family in the heart of Europe

For us, the journey doesn't end with the delivery. It doesn't end at all.

The woman who carries our child becomes part of our story permanently – and that means something in practice, not just in theory. It means we stay in touch. It means the door is open. It means that if you ever want to see where your child grows up, you are genuinely welcome.

We're in the process of moving to western Germany this year – closer to family, closer to friends, closer to the life we want to raise a child in. Western Germany puts us within easy reach of some of Europe's most beautiful places: Cologne, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris. Two to three hours by train, depending on where you want to go.

But honestly, the best reason to visit isn't the travel. It's us.

We host summer parties that go a little too long. We cook meals that take the whole afternoon. We have a garden and a guest room and a wide circle of people who would welcome you without hesitation. Our child will grow up knowing they have roots in two countries – and we think that's something worth nurturing together.

Canada will always be part of who our child is. That matters to us. We want them to know where they came from, who helped make them possible, and what the country that gave them their first home looks like. You're not just a surrogate to us. You're their Canadian story.

So yes – come visit. We'll make it worth the flight.

Curious about what a journey with us would actually look like? Head over to our Your questions page or drop us a message.
